Garth Hunter holds a Master’s in Medical Science from the University of Natal. He is a Registered Occupational Hygienist at the Southern African Institute for Occupational Hygiene (SAIOH) and a Fellow Chartered Member South African Institute of Safety & Health – a position held by only five people in South Africa.
Garth Hunter has been a principal inspector in occupational health and safety for the Department of Labour for the past nine years and has lectured on occupational hygiene at three South African universities for the past seven years.
Garth serves as a director on the International Occupational Hygiene Association board, representing Southern Africa (SAIOH).
